  • Training human resources and various other departments instilling in them the knowledge of the law and how to abide by it

3. Qualifications and Skills

On the whole, a chief compliance officer possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in the field of law is required. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree, which takes four years to complete at most colleges and universities, is preferred but not necessarily required. How to Become a Chief Compliance Officer?
